A woodturner’s joke:  A guy’s wife steps into the shop and asks if he would do some wood turning on the lathe. “Of course,” he replies, “What do you need? Maybe a new bowl or possibly a rolling pin or a vase? I have Persimmon, Hickory, Mesquite, Walnut and some Oak.

What would you like?” “Oh, I don’t care,” his wife says. “I just need about six bags of shavings for the flower beds.”
