Our June 9th meeting was attended 27 members.

Rich Enders reported we have a balance of $2,424.80

The president’s challenge was to turn a lidded box.  Winners in the Advanced category were:  1st place: Gary Ernst, 2nd place: Das Madhavan  In the Novice category there were no entries.

Thanks to all who brought in flag bases.  Jim Nickless will deliver them to the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Jim Nickless did a demonstration on craft items and/or gifts that you can afford to give away.  Jim showed several items, and also discussed issues with pricing crafts.  Thanks for a great demo, Jim.

Cookies and other snacks were provided by Tim Parker.  No one has signed up for snacks for July.  If you are willing to bring them, please contact me soon.

The President’s challenge for the July meeting is to turn anything you want, but it must be smaller than a 6″ cube.  In other words, it must fit in a 6″ x 6″ x 6″ box.

Our July meeting will be on Saturday, July 14 at  10 AM at Christ Epsicopal Church.

 

The demonstration has not been finalized yet.  I will send an email to advise you when it is confirmed.

 

Bring items for show and tell and raffle, as well as the president’s challenge.
