Our December 9 meeting was attended by 21 members.
The president’s challenge was to turn a turned Christmas Ornament. Winners in the Advanced category were: 1st place: Tom Jones and Jim Nickless tied. In the Novice category Henry Tinnerman and Len Coleman tied for 1st place.
The winner of the drawing to be submitted for a chance for an AAW Scholarship was William Weber. The drawing will be January 21. Good luck William.
Lynn Southward did the first demonstration in our series on hollow forms. Lynn turned a segmented bud vase.
As I mentioned at the meeting, AAW has a New Member Incentive Program that started December 4. For just $20, individuals who have never been AAW members may sign up for a three month introductory AAW membership using a credit card at http://tiny.cc/ITM2040. Only new members are eligible.

Our January meeting will be on Saturday, January 13. Tom Jones will be leading the meeting, since I will be in Florida on a month-long vacation (This is a new experience for me, being gone that long).
