Our August 11th meeting was attended 23 members and one guest, Kirk Jackson.

The president’s challenge was to turn some treen. Winners in the Advanced category were: 1st place: Jim Nickless, 2nd place: Tim Parker. In the Novice category Len Coleman was 1st, there was no second place.
Bob Seeberger gave a demonstration on spindle turning, with an emphasis on split spindle turning. Thanks for a great presentation, Bob.
If you have a turning that you want to donate for Tecumseh Lions Club Reverse Raffle on September 15, please bring it to the September meeting. Marian Timmerman will see that it gets to the raffle.
If you want to submit a birdhouse for the Not Just for the Birds! You can bring it to the September meeting and Tim Parker will take it to Adrian Library (or you can drop it off yourself by September 17.

The President’s challenge for the July meeting is to turn a spindle. The only requirements: you must have a minimum of two beads and two coves.
Our September meeting will be on Saturday, September 8 at 10 AM at Christ Epsicopal Church.
