Our April 14 meeting was attended by 28 members.
The president’s challenge was to turn Something using only a2 x 4 piece of wood. Winners in the Advanced category were: 1st place: Gar Ernst, 2nd place: I apologize I didn’t write down 2nd place. In the Novice category there were no entries.
The demonstration consisted of several people showing examples of captive hollowing tools. A lot of great ideas were shown. Thanks to all who contributed. Many of us were given a chance to try the tooling which was great.

I sent an email earlier this month asking you to advise me if a) you are willing to drive for a car pool from church or b) if you would like to ride with someone else. So far I have only had one response to each alternative. Please email me this week if you are interested in car pooling. I will then send an email listing who is willing to drive and who needs a ride so we can pair people up.
See you in May
